Joanie DEL BANO

After completing her pharmacy residency at the University Hospital of Marseille (FRANCE), she earned a PhD in immuno-oncology at the Marseille Cancer Research Center (INSERM/CNRS), where she worked on the development of novel bispecific therapeutic proteins. She further strengthened her expertise with a postgraduate degree in biostatistics from La Sorbonne (Paris) and a Healthcare Finance certification from MIT (USA).

Throughout her career, she has held key leadership positions across academia, biotech, and public-private partnerships. She served as Scientific Director for collaborative projects in neurosciences and rare diseases, and later as Associate Director in Regulatory Affairs, leading clinical development programs for innovative biopharmaceutical compounds. She also serves as Executive Committee Member and Director of Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs at Tafalgie Therapeutics, where she supervises clinical and pharmaceutical development programs and led regulatory strategy. In addition, she acts as External Expert at the Foundation for Rare Diseases, participating in the evaluation of R&D projects.

With Thelonius Mind, Joanie supports biotech and pharmaceutical companies in structuring and accelerating their clinical and pharmaceutical development and regulatory strategies.
